Pretty sure I do Ted, not that I ever went in there. Seem to remember a Wimpy around that section as well! East Ham has changed out of all recognition

Yes Duke I often went in that Wimpy they were everywhere and I loved them also you got a knife and fork and they served you ;-)

I was 3, there's a picture of me in a Baloo the Bear coat sitting on a seesaw in Valentines Park, eating an ice cream.

Life was good, Ilford was still posh (mostly), and people were decent.

I'm still not over the 2nd replay. Still one of the greatest games I've ever seen.

In general though Leonard. Overrated.

Life On Mars (Hunky Dory)
"It's a God-awful small affair
To the girl with the mousy hair..."

Wonderful, especially the fade / return of the outro (the result of a misaligned re-record due to a phone ringing in the next room on the earlier take). You can still hear the phone if you listen closely - Bowie loved the unintentional ending and declined all attempts to edit it out of the finished version. Rick Wakeman was the man on the piano...
